What happened to Koben?

Koben Allsopp Skinner formally of Stussy left just over 2 months ago and it is fair to say that Koben was a massive part of Stussy not only publicly but privately. Koben was loved by everyone in and around Stussy. His energy and character is something that could not be replaced. His generosity, strange humour, really strange humour, odd noises and creative genius is something everyone he met or spoke to knew about. There's a lot of rumours floating about as because his goodbye was so rushed there wasn't much time for an official announcement nor a leavers party so that's what we intend to do here. An explanation not a party.

Why did Koben leave? Koben's exit was a tough one for everyone to take. No matter what he said we would never have let him go easily. So why did he leave? Koben left because the travel became too much. Who can blame him really? Two and a half hour journeys each way on a bus (he can't drive lol). However his passion for content, progression, and creativity will never be forgotten here. Koben's impact was like nothing else he truly was great, but in the end it doesn't even matter. With that Koben announced his exit from Stussy entirely. He has now moved on to different things, not better, but different things and we wish him all the best. #LLK

Koben was also set up to host the official Stussy Radio but since his departure we haven't found the right replacement and we currently don't want to rush things so the Radio currently is on standby.

To conclude we love and miss you Koben, we hope you are well at your new job and wish you all the best even though we know whatever you're doing ain't got nothing on us. From all the short lived memories, soup, laughing at Vic House, riding bikes, bass boosting, your great acting, bad dress sense, weird hoodie, that place with nice toilets, the place with disabled toilets, we will miss you. #LongLiveKoben #LLK
